Anna Silk
Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is an Canadian actress who is most well-known for her part as Bo in the Showcase television series Lost Girl. Silk was born Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk were the grandparents of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright and director and plays the role of drama instructor on the drama department at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. One of Anna's first memories include going to the play school and watching her mother perform. Silk featured in a number of commercials as a child. She completed a Bachelor's degree in Arts at St. Thomas University. Her early theater experience includes at least two productions with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk moved from Toronto in the month of November 1999 to Los Angeles California to pursue her career as an actor. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007, when they met during an Actors' Workshop in Los Angeles. In 2009, the couple were married civilly in December 2009. They were married in Fredericton on April 10th the couple renewed their vows following her decision to convert to Judaism. Silk had a child named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13th 2013. Levi Aaron was her second born baby on May 13, 2016. Silk's work on television is centered around the character Cassidy Holland in Being Erica for which she received a Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. Her most notable role was as Bo Dennis, a succubus as seen as Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk got pregnant in the course of production of the final season episode. The news was announced to fans of the series during a Showcase preview of the Season Three special on January 6 2013. Silk tweeted on June 20th, 2013 that the series was returning for a fourth season of the production. The fourth season debuted on June 4th 2013 by Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. CNN Cable News Network named Bo, along with Lauren Zoie Palmer as the couples with identical sexuality on Lost Girl to be one of their top TV Couples ever. E! Magazine declared them Top Television Couples of 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk is a huge following on Facebook and Twitter, as a direct consequence of its popularity.
